FragPunk is a hero shooter where two teams of five players face off in spectacular battles, which will always have something new to offer thanks to the Shard Cards. These cards allow you to change up the rules of the game before the start of each battle, giving advantages to your team or inflicting disadvantages on the opposition.

Exciting 5v5 battles

Anyone who has previously played a hero shooter like Overwatch or Marvel Rivals will have no problem getting to grips with the FragPunk gameplay. The key to victory, as is to be expected, lies in collaboration. You will need to be on the same page as your teammates and work together if you really want to get the most out of the experience. In addition, thanks to the 1v1 duels that take place if the game ends in a draw, you also have plenty of opportunities to show off your individual skills.

Break the rules with Shard Cards

One of FragPunk's most novel and fun mechanics are the Shard Cards. Before the start of each round, the five players on each team can choose between three different cards, allowing them to gain an advantage over the opposing team. The effects of these cards are varied. In total, there are 150 different cards, which allow you to remove all the doors on the map, reduce the game time, increase the size of the enemies' heads, etc. There are Shard Cards with a range of different effects that allow you to completely change the dynamics of a game.

More than 15 different game modes

As if the Shard Cards didn't provide enough variety, FragPunk also offers more than a dozen different game modes. The main game mode is Capture the Core, where you bid to conquer and defend different areas of the map. However, though this is the most played game mode, it is by no means the only one. You will also find game modes such as Outbreak, where you have to turn your enemies into zombies, and Duel Mode, where you can play 1v1 against another player over the Internet.

A host of Lancers to choose from

Lancers are the different heroes that you can play in FragPunk. There are 13 Lancers in total, each with their own special ability. The best thing to do is try them all and find out which one best suits your skills, as each of them is specially oriented to a different playing style. With each event and each battle pass, you can get new skins for your favorite Lancers. If you keep your eyes peeled, you can even get exclusive content completely free thanks to Twitch Drops and other special events.
